The Public Affairs module of the Entrepreneur du futur programme provides a strategic understanding of politics
As part of Swiss Medical Network's Entrepreneur du futur training programme, the Public Affairs module took place in Bern with the aim of preparing young executives for the interface between the healthcare system and politics.
Under the guidance of Nello Castelli, Secretary General of Swiss Medical Network, and Raymond Loretan, Chairman of the Board of Directors and former diplomat, participants learned about the central mechanisms of political decision-making. The relevance of interest representation, political dialogue and strategic positioning in the context of healthcare was also discussed.
The training included both theoretical basics and practice-oriented units, including case studies, group work and discussion formats with external stakeholders.
A privileged exchange with State Councillor Johanna Gapany, who provided a fascinating insight into the future of politics and the opportunities and challenges of political work, was a highlight of the day.
The aim of the module is to raise awareness among future managers in the healthcare sector of the importance of political understanding for sustainable change and effective positioning in the healthcare market.
The Public Affairs module is part of the comprehensive Entrepreneur du futur curriculum, through which Swiss Medical Network specifically prepares internal talent for management tasks.
