The discussion on sustainable healthcare takes center stage once again in Locarno. On Saturday, August 8, the Palacinema hosted the fifth edition of the Locarno Symposium on Sustainable Healthcare, organized by Swiss Medical Network in collaboration with the Locarno Film Festival. The initiative, part of the program for the 79th edition of the film festival, reaffirmed its role as a forum for dialogue among institutions, academia, healthcare professionals, and researchers.
The event brought together representatives from Switzerland’s various linguistic regions to analyze the major transformations taking place in the national healthcare system, addressing topics ranging from the quality of care to scientific innovation, including translational medicine and economic sustainability.
