Regenerative Day 2025: Regenerative medicine in the midst of a revolution

Regenerative Day 2025, held at the Genolier Innovation Hub, was much more than just a scientific conference: it embodied a vision of the future of medicine. Moderated by Prof. Dr Victor Valderrabano and Dr Philippe Glasson, international experts shared the latest advances in regenerative medicine – from orthobiologics to cell therapies, to clinical applications already in use.

Highlights included a lecture by Dr Daniel Saris (Mayo Clinic) on integrating regenerative medicine into academic programmes, a lecture by Prof. Dr Philip Schoettle on the clinical use of stromal vascular fraction (SVF), and Dr Robert Soler Rich (ITRT) on unprecedented tendon regeneration using cultured mesenchymal stem cells.

Presentations by Dino Cauzza, CEO of Swiss Medical Network, and Swiss Stem Cells Biotech also highlighted the importance of biobanking and new solutions for transforming research into practical applications.

Regenerative Day 2025 clearly demonstrated that we are on the cusp of a new era in medicine: one that no longer merely treats diseases, but restores hope and quality of life to patients.
